Our Attitude :
Water is essential for life. The more rise in population, the more scarcity of water. All the living beings depend on water for their survival. But the irony is people know the importance of water, yet they use it unwisely. The reckless use causes its scarcity, The level of ground water is going down but the sea level is going up. Some state have installed desalination plants on the seashore to make up the scarcity of water.
We are very Careless in the management of water. The leaking pipes and taps are wasting the pure drinking water. While we irrigate our fields, water over-floods them. It is unwise to waste water in such a way.
Intoduction : 
When there was deluge in Mumbai on July 24, 2006, the local administration was indifferent and inefficient. But the people of Mumbai drag the city out of the most horrible crisis. The indomitable spirit of the common man was at its best. People sacrificed their own comforts and personal gains to help others. Everyone made effort for the well being of his fellow being who were caught in the torrential rain. Without carring for the odds, man joined hands to make the chain of aid to bring out others from crisis.
