"Water is Life"

Our earth consists of 70 per cent of water, yet the drinking water is only 2 per cent.

Our Attitude :

Water is essential for life. The more rise in population, the more scarcity of water. All the living beings depend on water for their survival. But the irony is people know the importance of water, yet they use it unwisely. The reckless use causes its scarcity, The level of ground water is going down but the sea level is going up. Some state have installed desalination plants on the seashore to make up the scarcity of water.
We are very Careless in the management of water. The leaking pipes and taps are wasting the pure drinking water. While we irrigate our fields, water over-floods them. It is unwise to waste water in such a way.

Our Responsibility :

 We must start the project of harvesting rain water. We should control floods. More dams should be build in Bihar to tame the rivers. Water should be preserved for irrigation crops and plants We should use water in our homes judiciously. We should close taps after the use. Water may be recycled to avoid scarcity.

Conclusion :

We ought to save every drop of water. Water is life. Some scientist say that the third world war will be fought on the issue of water.
